HULA ANIMAL RESCUE — 2008/07/29 09:52
HULA animal rescue is a registered charity which was formed in 1972, by a local vet. We provide Sanctuary for Dogs, Cats, Rabbits, and other domestic animals until new homes can be found. We also have a number of resident animals including Goats, Pigs, Sheep, Cows, Ponies and a Donkey who are permanently retired here. We operate from a 17 acre site where all of our animals are situated.
HULA Animal Rescue is located approximately two miles from junction 13 of the M1 motorway, and approximately 6 miles to the south of Milton Keynes. We are open to visitors every Friday, Saturday and Sunday between 1pm and 3pm, and on some Public Holidays but please phone to check our opening times on Public Holidays.
If you are interested in applying to adopt one of our dogs, we ask that you visit the sanctuary personally on any Friday, Saturday or Sunday between 1pm & 3pm. After an informal chat, if you are still interested, we will ask you to complete an application form and will give you as much information as we are able to about the dog. We then assess each application carefully and aim to pick the most suitable home. We will ask you to telephone us the following Wednesday to see if your application has been successful. If it is, we will then ask you to make an appointment to come along and spend time with the dog (together with any existing dogs and all family members), If this is successful further introductions will be necessary and this will be arranged with the sanctuary management. ..............................
